Your tour from Venice to Murano, Torcello, and Burano begins as you board your motorboat and set off across the Venetian Lagoon to your first stop, the island of Murano, which is actually several small isles dissected by a wide canal. Disembark the boat to walk around Murano with your guide.

Visit a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower creating beautiful pieces of glassware, a Murano tradition that dates back to 1291. Hear a bit about the island’s history from your guide, who tells you about Murano’s prosperity in the 1400s and 1500s, when it was the center of glassmaking in Europe. Then go admire other sights like churches decorated with mosaics and other ornamental details.

Next, visit Torcello, an island established between the 5th and 6th centuries, to see its ornate palaces and churches. Highlights include the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, founded in the 7th century, and the excavated remnants of the baptistery in the Church of Santa Fosca. Then head to your third stop, Burano, an island known for its lace production, which dates back to the 16th century and was once the best in Europe. While you visit local shops and a museum to admire high-end lace on display, admire the island’s brightly-colored fishermen’s houses.

Your tour then ends with the return boat ride to Venice.

Visit Burano separately, tour not worth it

If you can take a boat to Burano directly for less, I recommend doing that instead. The other islands were fine but nothing special. Each visit felt very rushed and while this tour was pretty affordable, we barely had time to eat and we could not hear the guide’s information on the islands at all and it did not seem like they cared that we could not hear them. Burano was incredible and I think that is the best island to visit and with a bit more time to wander and eat.

Nice day

Definitely a nice day - there is not a ton to do in each of these islands, nor does the time frame allow you to sit down and have a meal. Make sure you bring snacks with you. Still, for the price, it was a lovely boat ride and we really enjoyed ourselves.

This was an excellent half day tour. Directions to redeem the ticket were clear and we were happy with the service overall. The boat for the tour was good quality and the audio service on the boat was descriptive and informative! Would recommend definitely!

Good value and a great way to experience a short taste of each of these lovely islands on the lagoon. The demonstration of glass blowing on Murano was particularly good and well presented. Time on each island is a little limited, but it did give us ideas for where to travel (and stay) in the future. Would definitely recommend.

Glass blowing was amazing and while the tour was itself packed with information there was little time on each island to rally experience them would be better as a longer day trip in my view

Fabulous trip! Definitely worth doing as you get to see a snippet of the three islands. Would recommend getting food before hand as you only have around 40 mins on each island and finding somewhere to eat is scares. The views were amazing and you can’t say you’ve done Venice without going! :)

Great trip ..fab views. Murano glass making factory was pretty amazing watching the man make the glass horse wow !! Torchello was ok..a bit non eventful actually. Burano was lovely ..needs to be seen. For me ..it would have been better to miss Torchello to allow more time in Murano and Burano as it was a bit rushed. The views from the boat were pretty something. Well worth the money

The trip gave us the experience of visiting all three islands , however, we did not have enough time to fully explore due to time constraints. The tour was directed mostly at the Italian customers with only minimum inserts of Facts in English. Good value for money
