Wonderful guide!

Melissa, Our tour guide was amazing her energy was infectious and kept us entertained and educated! She was obviously very educated about the sites but offered up so much more about the beautiful city of Seville and it’s culture!

Alcazar Tour

First, we were not permitted to see the cathedral due to a holiday. The holiday should have been taken into consideration when the tour dates were offered on Viator. Secondly, the tour was given in both Spanish and English which made it twice as long. This meant a lot of standing around, costing valuable time on a limited time allowance. Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, giving very long and detailed descriptions in both languages led to what we considered time that was wasted.

Guide gave us far too much information in the royal palace and didn’t give us enough information e.g. about the Jewish Quarter. Guide was also late for the start of the tour.

Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. We've toured Seville Cathedral and The Alcazar 4 years ago with another service, and we learned much more this time!

We booked to tour the Jewish quarter the Alcazar and the Cathedral. Our host was Melissa and she was friendly warm funny and knowledgeable. The attractions were busy but we didn't have to wait in line for too long. We were in a group of 12 or so which was just enough. I would thoroughly recommend this Excursion and we loved our guide Melissa who made the experience very special ❤️

Lively Seville Tour!

Melissa was our guide, and she was absolutely fantastic! Full of energy, she brought the walking tour to life and shared great historical details of the palace and cathedral. There did seem to be a few hiccups at the start of the tour as we waited for Melissa to arrive and another guide did not explain what was going on as the English/Spanish speaking group waited for twenty minutes. Once the tour started, everything ran smoothly. There is a small (but unavoidable) wait to get in the palace and cathedral as a ticket must be scanned for each person in the group. Perfect way to see two key sites!

Our guide , Melissa, she is so far the best one we had in Spain and many places. Great communication skills, helpful, funny, a great dancer ( she found a guitar player on the streets and asked him to play while she did a sevillana !!! )

We enjoyed the walking tour. The history and architecture are stunning. The view of Seville from the top of the Giralda tower was amazing. It would have been better if the tour was in English only as our guide ( who was excellent) had to speak in both Spanish and English

If you speak English, try to request an English only your or you will her about 20-30 percent of the information that you would otherwise receive. Guide is great but Viator in Spain tends to allow the tours to combine English and Spanish and the great majority of guests speak Spanish, so gut English portion gets a little neglected.

Well the guide was really good but the group was heavy in Spanish speaker. There were very few English speakers so some information were lost in the language.

20% English and 80% Spanish
AndreaMariana_I

This is not an English tour but a “hybrid” tour where the guide just repeats himself, except I had to translate from Spanish to English to my boyfriend the whole time cause he mostly talks in Spanish and translates the bare minimum. The guide spent 45 minutes at the cathedral going over the significance of the toenails inside each saint’s relic and each local virgin instead of providing relevant information. The group was bored and dispersed and he had no audience awareness of this.

Hello Andrea, We are sorry that the tour was not to your liking. Regarding the content of the visit to the Cathedral of Seville, it seems strange to hear your comment, the guide who was with you has been teaching the monuments of the city for more than 25 years practically every day of the year, and we have never received a comment like this to him. Anyway, we appreciate your comment and we will see what happened. Thank you.

Great way to see the top two sites in Seville. Tour is very informative. 3 hours is too long though and the tour guide spent too much time on small detail like the tiles or wall architecture instead of giving more general information about the history of the buildings etc.
