    Great tour and guides!

We had a wonderful trip to Carmona and Córdoba. Alex, our driver/host/guide was very friendly, informative, and attentive. We were with a small group of nine and enjoyed meeting them and making new friends. We were not familiar with Carmona, but it was well worth the visit. Córdoba was fascinating - visiting the old Jewish quarter followed by the Mosque-Cathedral was awesome. Laura was our guide at the Mosque-Cathedral, and she did an excellent job describing the historical context and development of this amazing site - learning about Córdoba provides an important perspective on the history of Spain. We're very glad that we took this tour and experienced the culture and history of Carmona and Córdoba with the help of great guides! Highly recommended!

Our guide Manuel did everything he could to make this a great trip. I would suggest going when it’s <36 degrees though: 42o was too hot even for an Aussie!

    Company Misrepresented This Tour
    Douglas_T
    , Jul 2022
Cordoba was absolutely beautiful and Carmona was a total waste. First of all I booked the tour because it said Max limit of 15 people. There were 20 in our group. Had I know the company would have added extra folks I would not have taken this tour. On tours I have been on with a large group they give folks earphones so they can hear while walking around. This company did not do that so the larger group made it difficult to hear and get near the guide. Also, we paid for an English speaking tour, but instead of that we had a bilingual tour in English and Italian. That was very distracting. The guide was nice though. At the stop in Carmona we saw and arch (not decorative or anything, just an arch), and then afterward we were taken to a square where the guide pointed to a bar where we were told toilets were at the back if we wanted to go. The owner of the bar shouted at everyone walking in that they must buy a drink to use the bathroom. I bought water and it cost much more that if I bought water on the streets of Madrid or Seville. Not sure if the tour company made money on that or not. The entire group sat in the square in Carmona just waiting to get back on the bus. Square was plain with nothing to see. The stop was really worthless. When we arrived at the Mosque - Cathedral we were passed off to another guide that walked us through and gave us that tour. My recommendation for any one wanting to see Cardoba is to buy a train ticket from Seville for 11 Euros and then hire a guide in Cordoba to walk through the Mosque. You will get the same experience without the crowd. Save your money.

    Phenomenal experience... highly recommend Carlos!

I did the Cordoba and Carmona tour with Carlos. One day before the tour I was contacted by the office to confirm the details. Carlos showed up on time and was even patient with us when we forgot our masks in the hotel. Throughout the whole ride, Carlos was super friendly and funny. He showed us parts of Cordoba and Carmona that I would have probably walked past and never noticed had it not been for him. The tour overall was phenomenal and very memorable thanks to him.

Beautiful mosque/cathedral but don’t take this tour on a Monday!
    Hend_O
    , Jun 2022
Was very excited about this tour because Córdoba has many great sites to see with all the free time we had. However, I took this tour on a Monday and everything except the mosque is closed on mondays so our tour group missed out on a lot of things. A bunch of us were really disappointed. Either don’t offer this tour on mondays or make it a half day tour on mondays to just see the mosque. And make this clear in the description for Monday’s!

Carmona and Cordoba trip from beautiful Seville

The tour was good The reason for giving the less stars was the guide was not properly understood in neither Spanish nor English on the bus Carmona you stop ok Cordoba was beautiful The bus reached at around noon Temp was 30 degrees Still the walking tour was good At 1..20 pm we were left on our own own given time till 3.45 before we visited the Mosque Cathedral which was awesome to have nice long lunch , stroll , gelato etc and browse. The Cathedral Mosque tour conducted by local Spanish tour guide was perfect! The local guide had Audios with earphones and made that 11/2 hour local tour soo much in detail and interesting !! Awesome tour Please get better English speaking h guides on the bus so people can understand better Local guide was passionate !!!’ Should be that way

Wishing that we had focused on Cordoba only

    , Apr 2022
We had an interesting tour with our guide Miguel, who gave us a good overview of the Roman, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian cultures combining in Cordoba. The short tour of Carmona also hinted at more discoveries to be had with a full blown tour. However, the tour of the Cordoba Mosque which should have been the highlight of the whole tour was disappointing as it was only via audio guide which was not user friendly and did not adequately guide us through the mosque (attractions of the mosque not labeled and therefore, hard to find) and do justice to its attractions.

Really good tour. I was concerned it would be a little long at 9 - 10 hrs but time flew by without feeling rushed or spending too long anywhere. Well planned with just the right number of points of interest. Manuel was our guide and he was excellent. He made the history come alive. Very engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and humorous too, as well as ensuring everyone was ok throughout the tour. He also offered choices to do our own thing at times or stay with the group. Great timekeeping throughout and good value. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend.

    Misleading Experience
    Jessica_M
    , Nov 2021
We were very disappointed with this experience. We booked an English tour that was supposed to have under 15 people, and ended up on a 25+ person tour that was in English, Spanish and French. Having the tour guide repeat everything in three languages severely threw off the timing of the trip, and was boring for non-speakers. We missed several sites because of the delays with the three languages. Plus, the guide, Kathy, did not speak English well, and was clearly cutting stories short. Further, the guide did not organize the group. Several people got lost (costing the group 45 minutes of waiting), others were repeatedly late (again costing the group time waiting). All in all, it was a highly disappointing tour, and we would not recommend it to others.

We had wonderful time on this tour. It was only 5 of us so there was plenty of space in the van for all. The guide was very friendly and it did't seemed rushed at any time. The free time in Cordoba was great giving us a nice chance to see the town at our pace. This was an ideal day tour to break up a visit to Seville.

The mezquita is beautiful! And cordoba is a must-see when visiting Andalusia! It was wonderful to look at the Roman bridge and roman arches . My boys loved crossing it. We were late arriving at the meeting point and missed the bus.But naturanda was so accessible and helped us get on a train and met the group in cordoba. We took the renfe from seville on our own which took about 40 mins. It was easy to buy tickets. Then once we got to cordoba, we were told where and what time to meet the group and there they were! Thank you naturanda esp to Stella!
