    We had a great time and especially appreciated our tour guide (Audrey I believe this is her name). She added many interesting facts to the scenarios because she is so knowledgeable about Roman history. Despite the extreme heat in Rome, we were able to finish the entire trip, and everyone was impressed with how informative it was.

    This was a great experience. Our guide has all the answers to the questions that everyone asked. We didn’t have to wait in any line and we were given some time at each main (photo and bathroom) areas to do what we needed. She did walk a bit fast, but that’s not an issue because we could hear her from a distance and she always made sure we were all together before proceeding too far. Great experience and would 100% recommend doing it again.

    Roberto was a great combination of knowledge and humor. The day was one of the hotter days we experienced in Rome, so a little levity was very much in order. We liked the order of the tour, with the Forum first, then Palatine Hill and finally the Colosseum. By the time we got to the Colosseum, we really understood more of why it was designed in the way it was. The length of the tour was just about right also, as we felt we had enough time to stop and take pictures while still keeping up with the group.

    We gained so much more information by participating in this tour. The smaller group meant it was easy to keep up. We didn't realize that there was so much to the Palatine Hill. Our guide, Arjan, was knowledgeable and helped keep our group moving since it was ridiculously hot! I will say that it was a challenge at times to hear due to the quality of the headset which I can say because we had a better one on another tour.

    Lumi at Crown Tours was the best guide for any tour I’ve ever done, no joke. She was funny, informed, and made sure no one was lost and that we drank plenty of water during our very hot excursion. She also made sure we found shade. The tour itself is great but Lumi made it so much better!

    It was a great experience, the tour started on time, we were able to skip the line, smooth and fast entry to the Colosseum. The tour guide lady was funny, she had sound knowledge however her accent was a bit too strong, it was a bit hard to understand. Overall a great tour.

    I came couple minutes late, they made me purchase another ticket to join the same group another person came later than me joined. They were mischievous, rude and inconsiderate and sneaky. I’m gonna ask fir my 25 euros back that I paid on top of 135 euros I already paid!

    Super hot day in Rome. We had already done 3 hours at the Vatican. When we met Juan Carlos, he was all ready to go. He organized our group and got us on the path to ancient Rome. He was articulate and informative. Describing roman life and culture. He went through chronology of the Cesars and their relationship with the senate. The original bronze doors that have astonishingly survived the ages. And then he brought us into the colosseum with all of its rich history. Two levels of history about the Roman Culture , gladiators, and slaves and how they all participated in the events.

    This was promoted as a small group, but it was 30 people and it seemed to logistically challenge the guide. It was also slow going with a hissy, narrative through quite low quality audio. If you’re doing this tour with any U18’s for goodness sake take yours and their passports. For some reason they are vital to gain entry to the Colosseum and one family in our group didn’t have them, resulting in a long delay. On the upside the booking process was simple and the guide really knew his stuff - it was just a shame we couldn’t catch most of what he was saying.
