Fast- track- entry ticket to the Vatican Museums & the Sistine Chapel

Kent did a great job but Viator did not tell us that handicapped and companion get in free and do not need to stay in the line.

The tour company itself was fine. Viator needs to get the facts straight in the instructions!! Be aware your customer support person (Abbie) in Las Vegas got EVERYTHING wrong. And my email to the tour company went unanswered! TERRIBLE INFORMATION FROM VIATOR!

I purchased these “Fast Track Entry” tickets for $262.29 (7 x $37.47) to avoid waiting in line. Our entry time was 2:00, we arrived at 1:45 only to realize we had to go somewhere else (off the museum property) to get the tickets. There, we found a “tour guide” who was waiting for everyone to arrive so he could go to the museum to buy the tickets for $18.00 each. We finally got our tickets and entered the museum at 2:25. This is a scam, we would have been inside by 2:00 and paid half the price if we bought the tickets ourselves.

I had booked 4 events, two tours in Acropolis and Pompeii and two skip the line tickets. The tours were wonderful! Guides are great. Sadly, the horrible heat caused us to leave both tours after an hour. We missed both ticket events due to arriving too late, which was totally out of our control, as we were on a cruise. BUT, Viator is great! Took a walking tour-in Amsterdam in May and it was excellent, as well. Will definitely use Viator again.

The actual Skip the Line trip that we purchased was everything it said it would be, turn up 25 minutes before time slot, at location within easy walking distance of the Vatican to get voucher. We did turn up early but we’re told to wait until the specified time, then we waited about an extra 10 minutes whilst we were organised into the group then followed our guide into the Vatican museum and were given our tickets. My family were given preference over others in the group to get tickets first as we had a child with us, good for us, not so much for the others. We did not get any kind of brochure/ leaflet / map which we would have got if had paid for tickets direct. All this took about 1 hour from the point we first arrived. We went on a Thursday morning in August at 9.30am. There was barely a line so we could have got in much cheaper and quicker by queuing and paying direct at 17 euros per adult. When we left at 12 midday there was no line at all. We then walked around to St Peters square ourselves (not part of the tour) and queued for just 10 minutes to get in the basilica for free. We did not do a guided tour so can’t comment on the availability of that. We also booked tickets for Colosseum direct online on the official website the day before. I would say if you are organised and plan your visit well, arrive early etc then the Skip the Line tours are probably not worth it.

A little disorganised getting into the museum but the waiting room was air conditioned before we went in. I mean it was good for us but would do a guided tour if you wanted to know more

Have no words to describe the architecture and beauty. I’m glad we booked fast track through a tour operator.

The tickets that I bought was never received by email and was a total waist! At the museum they said that the tickets are not accepted.

Ticket price 17e and the servis plus ,,skip the line,, plus onother 17e. I can buy ticket on my own. If i had knowen that...this is just trap i would not buy it.

Waste of money. The no ticket line went faster than the “skip” the line. Crew poorly communicated the plans to the buyers. Left my family and me behind as well.
