A perfect birthday experience and way to explore the Duoro river

We had a perfect experience with Antonio and his boat tour. The three of us were there to celebrate a birthday, and we all agreed that the boat was the highlight of our trip- beautiful and relaxing. The birthday bubbles were also an extra treat!
We took the 10 am ride and it felt magical to view Porto while it was quiet and calm, and Antonio was a very warm and welcoming host. He also had great recommendations for restaurants, and offered to drop us off at Afurada where we had a wonderful time exploring and having lunch. Many thanks to Antonio for a memorable day!

If you want a river Cruze, do to with these guys. Service was amazing, private, and super relax. The driver was extremely nice and polite, with lots of stories to tell if you are interested about the surroundings of Porto. The river Cruze takes you under the most famous bridges and the views were breathtaking even if it was a little cloudy. We had champagne and Porto wine that were delicious. I recommend taking an Uber to the dock as we got off at Campahnã station and walked down which was longer than expected. The guide offered to drop us off somewhere closer to Porto on the way back if we wanted to be closer around the Center for dinner. We declined as we wanted to go back to the dock. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a private tour, with guides you can laugh with. They are also great photographers if you ask!

Highly recommend this boat ride. Antonio was awesome! This is a great thing to do I especially recommend doing this when you first get to Porto. You get to see all of the city from boat! And Antonio will make sure you have a great time. Also you get the opportunity to learn about Porto which helped us a lot when trying to figure out what to do the rest of our trip. Thank you Antonio!

Thanks Captain Daniel for a fun little trip under the bridges of Porto. Great way to spend the evening while visiting Porto and the view of the city from the water is spectacular. Absolutely recommend spending the time with Daniel sitting on comfy bean bags, sipping refreshments and in good company.

This boat tour was the highlight of my trip to Porto. I had booked this private tour for 3 people and we were very lucky to be upgraded to a better boat boat due to prevent rain falling on us. The scenic views of Porto and Gaia were incredible and gave another perspective of the city views. Many thanks to Paulo and António whos hospitality made us feel very welcomed. They even recommended an authentic restaurant to eat at which is usually fully booked and does not take any reservations. Kindly, they called up the restaurant and booked a table for us. Indeed, they are a man of their words as the fish was delicious! Thank you both again for an amazing experience. If coming to Porto, I highly recommend booking your boat trip with Douroboatman.
