I’ll get the negative out of the way first - there was no catamaran. We went out in a boat instead. That said, the boat ride out to Benagil was enjoyable and educational thanks to the excursion leader. The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and very efficient, and the kayak portion was extremely fun. You’ll get about 20 minutes inside Benagil but you do kayak into other areas that were just as fun. You also have the opportunity to swim if you’d like to cool off. Highly recommended.

Catamaran is a boat with two parallel hulls that are held in place by a single deck, like ours in the photos where you reserve our tour. Exists two types of catamarans salling catamaran or catamaran with engines like ours.

Great tour, but benagil cave is crowded and touristy

Great experience, best part was kayaking through the other caves without the crowds. Benagil was very crowded, even with it not being peak season but guide was helpful with navigating all the tour boats. Also loved jumping in the water at the end of the kayaking portion. Not too strenuous.

As a couple from India we both are non swimmers and kayak is our first time. The crew members are good snd very helpful. We did the kayak for almost an hour. There are 2 crew members on the water with us and 1 on the Catamaran. They all are experienced. We were also inside the cave for 20 mins to enjoy the view and take pictures. Definitely worth it.

Excellent! We were unable to kayak in caves as planned because of sea swells. Company notified me a few days prior to see if we could go earlier, but we only had the one day. They provided an alternative, we went my speed boat. Great experience we really enjoyed. Boat driver and guide were great. Very friendly, helpful and informative. Caves were amazing. They turned a disappointment into a wonderful experience. Thank you!!

Highly recommend this tour when your in Algarve. The crew were very friendly, safety is a priority while on board, when kayaking along the coastline & when entering the caves. Sergio gave us tips on Portuguese food to try & other places we should visit. This tour exceeded our expectations.

The tour operator was extremely flexible. We booked the 10am tour, but we decided we wanted to shift to a later time and called then the evening before and they let us switch to the 2pm tour with no hassle at all. The catamaran was nice and clean with space for us to move around and take pictures. The guide highlighted interesting points as we rode past them. I had never kayaked before, but they gave a short explanation when we were on the boat. They had 2 guides in the water with us, and I felt confident and safe the entire time. We were able to see some unique sights and walk around the benagil caves for pictures. I was nervous about kayaking, but in the end had a really wonderful time and look forward to trying kayaking again!

This was SUCH a fun experience. We came across it by accident when our other tour canceled on us. On a whim, we decided to kayak instead of just a regular boat and we were so glad we did. We could go inside many caves other bigger boats couldn't, and we could get out and take photos on the beach in the Benagil cave. We were nervous at first that our arms would be too sore and we wouldn't be able to make the whole time but it wasn't too bad at all - plus we were in a 2-person kayak. Highly recommend!

War einfach ein Traum! Können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Wir sind zu erst 20 Minuten mit dem Boot die Küste entlang gefahren anschließend ging es dann schon auf die Kayaks. Zum Abschluss ging es dann mit schnellen Tempo zurück. Die Crew war sehr nett und hatten alle gute Laune. Einfach Perfekt!

Am Tag Ihrer Tour gab es etwas Wellengang, der Ein- / Ausgang in die Benagil-Höhle wurde 1 nach dem anderen gemacht, damit unsere Guides Ihnen helfen können, die Höhle ohne Stürze / Unfälle zu betreten. Es tut uns leid, dass es etwas länger gedauert hat, aber es diente der Sicherheit aller Kunden. Wenn es jedoch zu Verzögerungen kommt, wird die Dauer der Tour um weitere 30 Minuten verlängert, damit die Kunden nicht geschädigt werden.
