Eiffel Tower Tour with Optional Summit and Seine Champagne Cruise

First, The tour operator changed tour time twice, AND downgraded our tour, and offered 50% discount (which we haven't rec'd yet). Then, on the day of our tour, our guide was late, so we (all tour participants) weren't sure we were in the right place. Eventually, The guide walked us down to the Eiffel Tower, and gave us info along the way, but I felt like I could have just read a Wikipedia article while walking and learned the same. Then, when we got under the Tower, she said, "Well, this is where I leave you." So much for the "Skip the Line" aspect. We stood in line, in the rain, for about 35 min.

It’s a good packaged deal but if you book the Eiffel Tower in the afternoon (esp in the winter) you’ll need to take the river cruise either before the tour or the following day. We did the 4:15pmin Dec not knowing the last riverboat departed at 5pm... luckily the boat company allowed us to do the night cruise for free since they weren’t sold out. Besides that, great experience being on the river and of course the Eiffel Tower.

Short time with the Guide, but she was very nice and shared a lot of great information on the Tower and it's history.

Paid for skip the queue And then had to queue for an hour The women at the ticket booth told the tour guide there was no skip the queue !! Then on the boat they said I didn’t have a champagne ticket and mine was boat only ??

Henry was a wonderful guide! So friendly and knowledgeable. He explained facts about the Eiffel Tower that we never knew. We had a great time!

I purchased these tickets and I was so excited because I was on my honeymoon and had very limited time in Paris. The Eiffel Tower tour was fine but when booking, we received an email from Viator with all instructions telling us to go to a kiosk for the boat cruise after and present our voucher in order to be issued a ticket. I showed the kiosk workers my initial email, the following link with the voucher, and a third link with confirmation details of payment. They kept claiming they needed a voucher to issue a ticket and no matter how many times I showed them every single thing I had been provided, they would not issue a ticket. They told me to email the info and I tried a dozen times and it bounced back each time and was very clearly not a valid email address. Ok top of this, the kiosk workers were extremely rude and began to yell at me as if this was my fault when I was following the directions provided. Instead of attempting to help or allowing me to get on the boat without some printed ticket and only confirmation that I had paid in full, they turned to the people behind me and told me to beat it. I then requested a refund and this request has been denied. I continue to ask to speak to a manager and they continue to just tell me the decision is final and I should have presented the voucher…which I did many many times. After reading the other reviews it appears many people have had the same problem and I can only conclude this is some sort of scam. I was so excited to do the cruise and we cut short all of our activities that day to get there early. It might not seem like a big deal but for people who saved up for this honeymoon it certainly was. Please do not give this company or this boat cruise your money!! It is an absolute scam and Viator has done nothing to help me get refunded other than to tell me their “decision is final” after refusing to even listen to me. Irate does not even begin to cover it. There is some sort of fraud going on here.

A truly horrible experience. I rearranged my entire day to go on the tour. The guide never showed up. The company refused to issue my tickets, no one could assist. Call Viator for the agent to say I wouldn’t get a refund. Most disappointing experience ever.

A good memory was left from the tower tour. A bad memory was left from the Seine cruise: didn't happen. We were told that the copy of the printout for the tower tour is to be used as the voucher for the cruise. It didn't work: the printout didn't even have the "cruise" in its title, and the ticket office refused to honor it. After that I got in touch with our guide, Tawfik, who told me to use the name of his tour company to get the tickets, and in case of further problems to call their office. So, the next day I tried that, and still the name of the tour company didn't do the trick. When I called the office using the number given by the guide the office was already closed (I was not told that the phone is manned only to some hour; I called at about 7PM). That was our last day in Paris, so that was it: I had to spend some 60 euros for our family from my own pocket to take the cruise.

He was a very informative tour guide, organized and knowledgeable , the Eiffel Tower is beautiful to see
