Begin your experience with a pickup from your central Marrakesh hotel. Meet your friendly driver, hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with the rest of your small group, and set off for your first destination—a traditional Berber home.

Be welcomed by the friendly family who lives in the house, and sit down for a delicious, freshly brewed mint tea—a staple in Morocco. As you sip, chat with the family members about their daily lives and the customs they follow.

Next, return to your vehicle and drive to the Palmeraie, a picturesque palm grove on the fringes of the city. Be shown to your camel and learn how these hardy desert animals have been used for transport in Morocco for centuries thanks to their ability to travel long distances without water.

After a safety briefing, climb into the saddle on the back of the camel and relax as you enjoy a ride through the verdant palms and sands. Take photos of the views as the sun descends through the sky and absorb the serenity of the surroundings as you saunter through the grounds.

After your ride, drive back to your hotel where your experience ends.

Hamza was a great guide and he made it a very fun experience. He took care of us and we all felt safe during the trip. Our driver was on time and very informative. He told us about his lifestyle and the lifestyle of his family who are nomads. I don't remember his name but I do remeber he is a singer and had a lovely voice. It was very intersting to learn about all of this. He recommended a restaurant to us and dropped us off there at the end of the tour. The food was lovely too.

My husband and I went along with our 8 year old son, who loved it the experience. We all did. The camels were wonderful - so placid and the handlers were equally calm and gentle with them. The sunset in the desert really is fabulous sight. Feel very priveledged to have had this opportunity and many thanks to the people in Morrocco who made it such a lovely experience for us.

This was better than expected. “MarOne” was waiting to greet us at our hotel and was friendly, professional and informative. Hamzi was a great dromedary guide. Great sense of humour, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly. Snacks & tea were a nice touch. Olive & Victoria were very obliging in allowing us to ride on their backs. Beautiful sunset made for some excellent pictures.

The sunset camel ride was awesome!!!!! Very well organized from our driver giving us information on Marrakech during our ride out and our Berber guide stopping a few times during the ride to take pics for us and ensure we captured the sunset. Tea and snacks at a Berber home was beautiful and ended the night perfectly

The camel ride was beyond expectations! Driver picked us up at hotel right on time! He was very fun and interesting conversation out to camel destination. Camel herders dressed us in traditional garments, helped us on camels and we were on our way ! Ended at a tent, beautifully embellished , served tea and snacks by lovely Berber woman. We then loaded up and when back during sunset to our van driver. All was a wonderful and a magical experience!! Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this! The camels were sweet (some even had little ones nearby) and it was the perfect time of the day to go (slightly breezy, less sunny). The palm grove at sunset was magical and I would highly recommend this!
