Private Tour: Marrakech Medina By Night

Rachid arrived on time and together with my husband and I we enjoyed a tour of the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque. Then he led us around the labyrinth of fascinating alleyways of shops displaying wonderful colourful goods and foods. He also encouraged us to taste some local foods. It really was a feast on the senses and not to be missed. Rashid gave us many interesting facts and an insight to Morrocon life and history. We felt safe and well informed, especially when he took us through the Djemaa el-Fna. We highly recommend you need a guide for this. We finished our evening on a roof top restaurant, sipping mint tea with Rachid and gaining more information while marvelling at the spectacle..Wow. He even arranged our taxi back to the hotel. We really enjoyed his company and professionalism.

As a family, we really enjoyed the tour. Highlights included the bakery, hammam furnace and seeing the inside of a traditional riad. Plenty of history and cultural insights.

Fantastic way to experience the Medina with our guide Mohammed. We did it on our first night and found it really beneficial as it helped us settle into the bustle of Marrakech which I’m now in love with! We also enjoyed the secrets ;)

Mohammed was a really nice guy and a very knowledgeable tour guide. Took us all around the bustle of the Medina making us feel really safe and looked after. We went down and through parts that we wouldn't have ventured on our own through fear of getting lost. Loads of history was explained and all our questions answered. Nice tea on the rooftop overlooking the square to finish. Would recommend.

Great tour. Booked for first night in Morocco and the guide showed us all the places to go and tourist traps to avoid. Also got to try local food and drink included in the tour. Great tour excellent value.

We done this on our first night in Marrakech. We were in a group of around 9 people. Mohammed our guide was very informative and know the area well. We had some much fun walking around and felt completely safe. Mohammed explained everything well from the history to how to avoid as being con by the locals, this information has definitely given us the head start and confidence walking round Marrakech. Overall, really good tour around Medina. Big shout out to Mohammed.

Mohamed met us at our Riad on our first night and gave us the perfect tour of the Medina. He helped negotiate prices for us and gave us all the ins and outs, including safety tips. He was also super kind and helpful by connecting us to a colleague driver Marwan for another trip we took later during the week. Marwan was also awesome and super sweet!

HIGHLY recommend Mohammed for a tour ... .Mohammed is very knowledgeable knowing the history and culture. Extremely patient with taking the time to explain different things and answer questions. You could see the passion that he has with doing his tours. The concern he had for our safety, considering we got lost in the Médina and he took the time to make sure we reached our Riad safe and unharmed!!!
