Departure Time

8:00 PM
Begin your experience with a pickup from your Marrakech hotel or a central meeting point. Then, travel to the Fantasia show venue — a palm grove with Berber-style tents and a sand arena.

Head inside a tent and settle on the comfortable floor cushions. Then, savor a traditional feast of Moroccan dishes, such as roast lamb, couscous and mint tea accompanied by Berber music and belly-dancing displays.

Next, take a seat around the outdoor arena and enjoy an electrifying folklore show featuring horse riders, dancers, magicians and other exotic acts.

Watch a thunderous display of Moroccan horsemanship, with riders dressed in historical battle costume. Admire the speed of the pure Arab stallions as the riders act out battle scenes, performing stunts and blasting rifles into the air.

Then, watch a host of colorful entertainments as skilful fire-eaters, acrobats and magicians take the stage.

Keep your camera handy for the stunning finale — when two performers climb aboard a magic carpet to ‘fly’ through the air.

After the spectacular finish, your evening then ends with a drop-off at the original start point.

Terrible tourist trap
Laura L
, Nov 2019
I was very disappointed by this show. Firstly when I arrived at the venue it was absolute chaos, there was no one checking tickets, just lots of confused tourists trying to work out where to go. Musicians playing loudly out of sync to get your attention. When I did eventually find where I was supposed to go (no thanks to the people that work at the venue) my food was appalling. There was no vegetarian starter despite me stating this as a requirement at the time of booking. The main meal was below average compared to other tagines I had had during my stay in Marrakech. The amount of food waste was enormous as the waiters kept bring out large trays of food despite saying no. It felt like they thought we were all gluttonous tourists. No one said that the show was about to start, I just assumed as there were other people sat at the arena. The actual show was terrible and mainly consisted of 5 people galloping their horses back and forth across the stage. The lighting was dim which I assume is for the horses but at times I could not see what was happening. They also simultaneously fired loud guns which I imagine if I had been sat at that end of the stage would be damaging to your ears, definitely distressing for young children My only positive was my lovely driver who despite our language barrier was able to help me navigate the carnage of an evening. I would not recommend this show to anyone as it is certainly not value for money
An amazing night

A lovely and amazing night to spend in ches Ali. A must try if you are in Morocco to experience the Moroccon culture. Show was good. Food was typical morrocon cuisine and way too much in abundance for a small group. A place worth going once
The BEST dinner show ever.

Perfect entertainment packed with special surprises. Delicious food. Excellent wine not included. Music, dancing, men on horses, fireworks, and even a flying carpet.

The dinner/show place was a bit of a drive from our hotel, but dinner was absolutely amazing. The show wasn't anything special and was worth seeing once.

This is the standard tourist stop for visitors to Marrakesh. The horsemanship of the riders was great, and the Berber men with the rifles was surprising. There is also a lot of music from every in Morocco's regions, but there is a lot of 'manufactured' exhibits and it can get old in a hurry.

Not a highlight of my trip. Would not recommend this to others traveling. Just my own personal taste. Interesting to see but was not amazing. Food was only average and the guide was quite and abrupt.

The dinner is actually quite good, punctuated with appearances from groups from different tribes. A nice show in the end with horses, belly dance, fireworks and even the flying carpet, as promised. We did not get impressed with the local company, however. Our guide arrived late without any apology or even the average salutation in the end, a French couple and we remained waiting for him at the designated meeting point for ages. When everyone had left and the music was finally off, we eventually headed to the bus park, only to find him angry and shouting at us, without having bothered to look for us rather than complain. The displays of irritation regarding the larger Spanish group were also unpleasant, bordering on xenophobia. We'd recommend the dinner and show, if you're into that kind of thing, bearing in mind there are several other operators offering the same. The hosting place was called Chez Ali and has its own website!

The cultural show was exciting but I would highly advise you to take a higher seat during the horse show because we almost got into an accident as the horse slipped into the spectator's area since there isn't any proper barricade or fencing. Dinner service took some time but the portions were extremely generous. Loved the chicken couscous that they served.
