The tour guide was extremely helpful and provided a great experience. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the Accademia Gallery.

We really enjoyed this tour! It was so nice to skip the long lines and get inside before there is too many people. This small museum is small so it fills up quickly. Our tour guide did a great job walking us through. We enjoyed the smaller group experience

Wonderful tour today with Jade. Very friendly and clearly has a passion for the arts and her city. Definitely recommend this tour. You see pictures of David online but when you see him in person, wow! A sight to behold.

Fredericka???? Her knowledge was amazing and she obviously had a passion for art. The meeting point was difficult to find and was a considerable walk from the gallery

Great tour guide; just wish the departure was closer to where the tour begins

Excellent and informative tour guide and wonderful to see some of the more famous paintings, and of course the David. Only taking one star off because the tour leaves from the operator’s headquarters, meaning we made a 10 minute walk in the heat, for no real reason. It would be better to meet at the Academy, or very close by (as I appreciate it is very busy in front of the Academy). Not everyone reads the instructions, so some went straight there and had to be found, adding more time to the trip.

Fabulous small group tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable, and the skip the line was so worth it. Everyone goes to L'Accademia to see David, and the guide understood that, but also showed us some beautiful highlights - paintings, sculpture and musical instruments along the way. I've seen David before, but our guide really made it come to life, with lots of lesser known stories and info. Avoid the crowds - highly recommend this small group tour.

Very educational. We would have never learned so much in-depth information about Michaelangelo’s statue of David and other important artworks without this wonderful tour. Highly recommend our guide and this tour.

High Interest, Quick and Efficient Tour

We had Greta, who was very knowledgeable about the history of Firenze. She described the buildings such as the Medici Pallazo and St. John's Baptistry which we saw on the way to see the David. Her knowledge of Michelangelo also made me glad that we had a tour. Most tour guides in Italy take a two year course, and have to learn about a lot of ancient things about their region of specialty. So, getting a guide is usually a good thing in the cities, and this was definitely true with this tour!

Not worth it

I was disappointed in this tour as we met at the location of the tour company. Continued to walk 20 mins to the museum while there was no talking. By the time we got to the museum we were already 30 mins into the 1.5 hour tour with hardly any information provided. She continued to do brief descriptions of the items in the museum. Honestly, I learned more about David by reading a tourist book than from the tour.

Bono. The only thing they didn’t tell us was the address to the meeting place. It is well worth Skip The Line. We had a great experience.

It took us over 45 minutes to walk to the entrance, have the guide purchase the extra ticket (as she was one short), and wait in line…for a “skip the line tour”. We then spent 75% of our time at the David statue answering questions of one of the guests, so ran out of time to see most of the Gallery.

Our tour guide Michele was great! He didn’t go on and on like some guides do but gave us the interesting facts and moved on. He was even thoughtful enough to let us sit when we could when he was talking.

VIATOR=SCAM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY

Viator is the worst. My husband and I booked a "Skip the Line: Accademia Gallery Tour with Michelangelo's David". We arrived at the museum 45 minutes prior to the start of the tour (the tour apparently started at a different location than the actual museum which makes ZERO sense). Why on earth would this title not start with "walking tour". Whatever, moving on. We email Viator, they say they tried calling me twice--no they did not no missed calls. Then they tell me I put in the wrong number? Impossible considering it is tied to my PayPal account. Again, whatever no big deal. THEN the same moment we are on the phone with their customer service, they inform us that our group is already in the museum. We say "ok, then can someone come get us? We are right outside". They just kept repeating that they called me twice, in which, they did not call me and on top of that they refuse to have the guide OR ANYONE else step outside to give us our tickets and on top of THAT refuse to issue a refund on the $105 USD that we spent on the tour. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience in terms of customer service with these people. We ended up buying skip the line tickets for $20 USD each through the museum and had a great experience.

Our guide Martina was great and awesome. Very patient and human in her style. Had good perspective and knowledge about Florence and Rick history of this beautiful city. Took her time and explained everything in detail. Grazie Martina !!
