Your tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll hop aboard your coach and journey west to Pisa with your local guide.

Arrive at the central square of Piazza dei Miracoli, and hop out to explore by foot. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour past the Baptistery, where you can admire its mixture of Gothic and Romanesque architecture. Afterward, head to the city’s iconic attraction: the UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower of Pisa. Originally intended as a bell tower to accompany the Duomo, hear how the monument began its famous tilt in the 12th century.

Head inside the stunning Duomo cathedral to study the carved pulpit, a masterwork of medieval sculpture, as well as other features of the ornate interior. Then soak up some free time to explore on your own.

It was a great day and Sandro was a fantastic guide and the local guide in Pisa was amazing. The local guide in Lucca was less great - felt rushed and like she was simply repeating information like a robot. Our driver, Angela, was fantastic. I only wish we had more free time in Pisa. The free time was looped in with lunch so we didn’t actually have that much free time.

Most unprofessional tour guide ever. Pisa was a nice venue, as was Lucca. Guide’s English was heavily accented, he shared very little information while on the bus ride, offered no help to people exiting the bus, ranted in Italian continuously to the bus driver during the bus rides, & offered a very lackluster thank you at the conclusion of the tour.

the bus ride was pleasant and comfortable. the tour guides on the bus and in each location had a ton of knowledge about the places as well as the historical information. they were so friendly and helpful when questions were asked as well. truly loved experiencing Pisa and Lucca this way. had a wonderful day with my son and that's what mattered!! would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see Pisa and Lucca (which i didnt know about until i booked the tour).

In Pisa the distance from the bus drop off to the Cathedral grounds was painfully long. Most of the tourists were tired or suffering from the heat by the time of arrival.

The first part of the tour in Pisa was very good. The guide who organised the group was great, and our guide in Pisa was informative. The second half of the day in Lucca was a slight disappointment. There were no comfort breaks which made a lot of the group uncomfortable throughout the afternoon. The guide was pleasant the pace of her tour was disjointed.

We didn’t find the meeting point very clear - asked a local for directions as google maps struggled. Seeing the Pisa complex was great. Be aware entry into the tower is not included. We did the lunch option - would not recommend this - food average (basic lasagne, salad and tub of ice cream). Would have rather spent the time walking on the walls around Pisa. Lucca was lovely. Guide very knowledgeable about the history and buildings. Free time there was great. Recommend paying to walk up one of the towers for great overview of the city. Buying gelati ourselves was much tastier than the cake sample provided.

The Pisa leg of the trip was great, definitely a must-see if you're in Italy. I only wished we spent more time there since it included the lunch (which was simple but decent). Lucca was nice but felt we spent more time than necessary and could have used 30-60 more minutes in Pisa. Our main guide, Giulio, was interesting and lovely. He gave bits of information about towns on our way to our visits. I appreciated his enthusiasm, humour & punctuality. Felt bad that he had to deal with some passengers who were not very considerate & seemed to push everyone's buttons. Giulio definitely made a good trip better.

Directions to the meeting place would have been useful for people arriving on foot. In Pisa it was useful to have timed entry to the cathedral. Lunch was standard tourist fare. The toilets in the restaurant needed cleaning more often. There wasn't enough free time after lunch for people who wanted to see inside the baptistry or go up the tower. The visit to Lucca was excellent. Our guide, Consuela, took us to places not usually seen on a standard walking tour and was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

The bus terminal is located just six minutes walking distance from the main train station, very central. In regards to the time spent in each place: we do our best to let people spend the maximum time possible according to the distances to cover. Lucca is lovely, Pisa is the typical tourist spot where everybody wants to have the leaning pose with the tower. I find that the tour is too short, everything was in a rush, you can’t really appreciate the visit. It’s enriching though since they give you a little bit of history. Overall it’s not bad.

There are two bus stations in Florence, ensure that you go the correct departure point. We booked this tour as we wanted to cover both cities in one day. The tour allowed sufficient time in both locations and the tour guide was great. There was a little walking from the bus to the tower in Pisa so not ideal for those that don't want to walk, however it appears most of the tours have to stop outside the city and the visitors have to make their way to the tower.

Our guide Claudia was wonderful! Helpful, information, interesting. But, from Bar Reale we walked a quarter mile at least to get to the bus. Pisa was packed with people and gypsies posing as tourists trying to steal from the bags of unsuspecting people. Also there were men in the shopping area constantly coming up trying to sell something. Even the shop owners under the tents swarmed us to try to get us to spend money. Pizza and gelato were quite good at the meeting place Claudia told us about. Another good trek to the bus lot. Lucca was charming, but we didn’t enter the cathedral. It was also about 90 degrees so that made it difficult, odd for June. No shade in Pisa. Other than climb the tower and go into the baptistery and church, not much to do in Pisa.

Our visti was too long in Pisa not much to see after taking pics of leaning tower just alot of touristy vendors in front but other that Pisa leaning tower this is a one and done. Lucca was great but tour should have started there and allowed more time then gone to Pisa.
