Please condense Cordoba

The places were spectacular! Our guide had a very thick accent and repeated herself a lot. This combination coupled with the length of the tour had us all yawning. It was boring. If she could improve her English skills and focus on important information and say it only once, she could probably get the tour done in 3 hours and it would be more interesting.

The tourism spots: Those spots are a must if you come to Cordoba. People might think you are on business trip if you don't. But those are just bunch of beautiful buildings without meaning and history if you don't get a good local guide. About the Guide: I was very lucky I got Elena. Many reviews talked high about her. After spending half day with her, I think good is understatement. First of all her English is very clear and she is very easy going. She liked to make jokes, not all funny but most of them are :) Secondly, she knows every little details about every corner we visited. All the 47 families with chapels in the mezquita, even when I asked "why" she always have answers and putting context into the answers. It makes me understand the history from one dynasti to another and all just made sense thanks to her. The sad news is that day was her second last day. She is about to take a job with the municipalities of her hometown, which has a lot of roman ruins. I wish her luck and I hope there are many more guides like her in Cordoba. Tips for Oway: I know it might be not practical, but segregating groups in age could also be an option to keep the pace :)

Our guides were very knowledgeable the tour was definite highlight of our trip. The tour itself is very long and I wish the description suggests packing snacks and drinks - especially on a hot day.

Good tour, could be shorter

Our guide Ricardo was excellent. Knew his facts very well. Skipped queues everywhere. The tour could have been shorter though, there were many breaks and was a bit tiring for kids.

Five stars for the first part of our tour with Christine. She knows her history and her English was very easy to understand. She is very professional. Cannot say the same for the second part of our tour with Elena. She did not have all her facts correct and I cringed every time she put her hand on a display glass.I really don’t care about a guides personal opinions either. I enjoy stories about the area but not personal stories. We take tours to be informed not poorly entertained.

The mosque was amazing but the place was great. It was about 4 hours standing & walking so not for fragile people. We really loved it all

Great tour and guide! Elena made it fun and interesting. It never got boring, even though it was 4 hours long. All the places were beautiful and worth seeing. We also liked the size of the group, because it was easier to maneuver through crowds.

Guide, Elena, was very knowledgeable and lovely. She led an interesting tour. I suggest a short break for people to sit down in the shade and drink some water would be good as the excursion was 4 hours and there was no break or sit down. Otherwise very good.

Excellent guide but too long without a break, we were exhausted and two of our party had to drop out, however we did enjoy it.

Córdoba is an amazing city where history and traditions are everywhere. In just one day we were able to visit the most interesting sites, and to taste the famous salmorejo. Our tour guide, Cristina, was very knowledgeable, and made the trip fun as well as educational.

The guide, Erena, was very knowledgeable and informative. We picked a very bad time, in the week before Easter, as the crowds were enormous. Erena was able to skip some of the lines, but we did a lot of standing and waiting. In fairness she kept up her historical and local interest commentary in those times. 4 hours of walking were too much for my wife and her new hip. The price was steep!
