  • Snorkel and swim in a turquoise-colored lagoon and spot colorful angelfish
  • Float down a river in an inner tube and jump off a cliff into the water below
  • Entrance fee, locker use, towels, snorkel gear, unlimited food and beverages included
  • Pickup and drop-off from most Cancun hotels included
Following morning pickup at your hotel in Cancun, travel to Xel Ha for a day of exploration and discovery.

After a 1.5-hour scenic ride through Mexico, arrive at Xel-Ha, located on an inlet on the Riviera Maya. Pick up your all-inclusive bracelet and get to work exploring.

Bike, ride a tram, or trek to the top of the river at Xel Ha. Review the safety instructions before jumping into an inner tube and floating past mangroves until you reach a spot where you can cliff dive.

Stroll through the network of paved trails, where you can spot Mexico's array of wildlife like iguanas and tropical birds. Reach caves, a floating bridge, and a hidden beach.

Apply some biodegradable sunscreen, available onsite and required to preserve the park's ecology, before diving in to the lagoon. Don the provided snorkeling equipment for views of rays and angelfish swimming around you.

Stop at the buffet, the sit-down restaurant, or any of the park's snack bars for lunch or a quick bite. Enjoy unlimited beverages from the bar for the duration of your stay.

At the end of your eco-adventure, you'll be returned to Cancun for drop-off at your hotel.

Well organized Tour Company. The place itself- XEL HA- was excellent. Nature at its best. All the activities were well organized.

Nice place. Getting there was a hassle after being moved from bus to bus. Then once we get there we were called out for not paying for the Tulum ruins and dropped off early. Food was ok, drinks were ok. Overall not bad, just better customer service.

Great family experience, but be prepared for the additional charges

The trip to Xel-Ha was long 1.5hrs on a bus full of people (no bathrooms). On the bus we we told or at least understood that everything was included except for the dolphin encounter, but turns out half of the activities cost additional money. We paid for the photo experience which we felt was worth it and they gave us discounts on the dolphin experience and the bike zip-line. It is Mexico so you can negotiate the cost. All of the paid experiences were super fun. We found out after the dolphin experience that our photo package did not include the dolphin photos. We were able to negotiate those costs and that is the only way to get photos of that experience as cameras of any kind are not allowed. The food was also great for buffets in Mexico. Our family would definitely do this again but I wish I had a better idea of what everything was going to cost up front. The dolphin experience cost us $50 per person, $40 per person for the bike zipe-line, and $150 for the photo package which is based on the number of people not the number of photos. The dolphin photo package ranged from $238 to $350 but we paid $150 for the smallest package. All animal experiences cost additional money but the snorkeling, water slides, lazy river, cenotes, cliff jumping, and ropes courses are free and I am sure I am missing things. Good luck and enjoy!

Definitely not the cheapest place to go with a family. In terms of value for money it wasn't quite there when I compare similar things we've done as a family in other places/countries and you have to pay more for extras to get full experience but I'm very happy with did this and had a great time. The park itself is amazing and I highly recommend you do a full tour of the park and not just stay to a designated area

A pretty good park. It is like a huge jungle around a lake. The lockers and towels are free to use. There are a few different restaurants, all buffet style, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all included. The activities included snorkeling, cliff jumping, tubing, zip-lining, a really tall water slide shaped like a lighthouse, and some caves/cenotes to check out. The shuttle picked us up from our hotel at 7:30am, arrived at the park around 9:30am, and took us back to the hotel at 6pm. There are a ton of other activities that can be scheduled but cost extra pretty expensive. These include walking with dolphins, swimming with dolphins, stingray encounters, swimming with manatees, zip-biking, riding a speedboat, etc. I didn't book any of these extras. Tip: USE BUG SPRAY. I got a ton of mosquito bites from this park, so many that it looks like I have the chickenpox.

This was an amazing trip to take...

This was an amazing trip to take, there is a lot to fit into one day but we managed to spend time snorkelling in the huge lagoon where we saw lots of different varieties of fish. Our daughter then did the dolphin experience, which was magical, and a must for anyone who hasn't done this before. Be warned though, the photo packages for the dolphins are very good, but also very expensive so make sure you take extra money if you want these. We then went on the Adrenalina speedboat which was absolutely wild, great fun, and a must for all thrill seekers, The day was rounded off with a relaxing float down the lazy river where we passed cliff jumping and zip lines. Lockers, showers and towels are all provided and the food and drink is plentiful and pretty good. Overall this trip was excellent value for money.
